Message from the New Lawyer Division

Dear SDCBA Community,

On behalf of the San Diego County Bar Association’s New Lawyer Division, thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent “Find Your Pot of Gold” Speed Mentoring program at the Bar Center. This fast-paced evening of small-group conversations, practical advice, and real talk about building a sustainable career was made possible through the NLD’s collaboration with the SDCBA Wellness Committee, reflecting our shared commitment to creating a bar community where new lawyers can thrive both professionally and personally.

For law students and attorneys in their first seven years of practice, the NLD offers a built-in community: leadership opportunities, and regular programs focused on networking, skills-building, and wellness. We invite you to stay engaged with the NLD through our listserv and events calendar, and to join us as we continue developing programming that connects new lawyers with mentors, resources, and one another.
