As the election has come to a close, one thing is clear – lawyers are leading the way. The White House will welcome two attorneys: President-elect Joe Biden, who early in his career worked as a public defender, and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, a former prosecutor and Attorney General of California.
At our recent Right to Vote! program, I learned so much voting rights history that I never studied before and gained a deeper grasp of the legal issues currently percolating in courts across our country.
